My Approach to Helping
My goal is to truly understand your perspective, your challenges, and how you see yourself. I’m not the stereotype of a therapist who simply listens without engaging—I’m active in our conversations. I’ll ask questions, share my thoughts, and create a space that feels more like a free-flowing dialogue than something rigid. I also believe in gently challenging you, because you’re here to make changes and find what works for you. Together, we’ll uncover insights, explore solutions, and work toward your goals in a way that feels supportive and authentic.
More Info About My Practice
I approach therapy with the belief that my personal beliefs don’t play a role in the work we do together. I’m just as comfortable working with someone who may be on the opposite end of the political spectrum as I am with someone who shares similar views to mine. It’s the same with any other personal belief. I believe it's important that a therapist’s personal views remain unknown to the client so that the focus stays on your journey, not mine. If you’re looking for someone who shares your views in every way, I might not be the right fit—but if you're open to a truly open-minded, collaborative approach, I’d love to work with you. My goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space for you, no matter where you stand on any issue.
