My Approach to Helping

All of us experience stress, anxiety, and unhelpful patterns. Sometimes, it’s difficult to notice their insidious effects on our wellbeing.

When you think of stressors, your mind might go to your demanding job, family dynamics, recent break-up, or financial difficulties. However stress is manifesting in your day-to-day life, I'm here to help you learn effective coping strategies, discover what your triggers are, and create an action plan for finding calm in the chaos.

Most people already have the inner strength to navigate life's challenges, but haven't unlocked it yet. Discovering your strengths is a core foundation for our work together. I’ll celebrate your successes and call out what’s going well to help you build self esteem, improve confidence, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. I also use methodologies proven to disrupt unhelpful patterns and make handling challenging life situations easier.

More Info About My Practice

I’m a huge cyclist. If biking has taught me one thing, it’s that you can accomplish almost anything if you set a goal and work towards it consistently.

The same is true in therapy. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, or life transitions, you can move forward in your life by setting goals, taking steps every day to reach them, and celebrating success along the way.

We all have the capacity for resilience while facing adversity. Everyone deserves a space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences safely. It often feels difficult to take the step to seek support, but know you don't need to face this alone. I consider it a privilege to listen to your story, be a resource, and assist you in making sustainable life changes.
