My Approach to Helping

My clients want to change the way they feel and relate to themselves, their life circumstances, and their relationships. They experience a variety of mental health issues such as sadness, anxiety, low motivation or self-esteem, intergenerational trauma, andor feelings of grief and loss. I particularly enjoy working with people who want to increase self-worth, self-esteem, and self-empowerment, women of color, indigenous populations, and LGBTQIA+, survivors of trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, and harassment, and people living with medical conditions, grief, and loss.

I am dedicated to getting to know my clients through a lens of humility, intersectionality, and compassion. I provide a supportive and collaborative space for my clients and help them to better navigate the issues in their lives. I also recognize the impact of stress and I am training in EMDR and as a Death Doula (aka End of Life Doula).
