My Approach to Helping
We’ll co-create a contained, gentle space with enough structure for us to develop trust and rapport. During our sessions, you’ll build self-confidence and connection with yourself, cultivate body awareness, create rituals for a balanced life, and reveal a new story that better serves you.
More Info About My Practice
I am committed to living my healthiest life. This includes engaging in intentional movement every day, eating seasonally and with my body’s rhythms, and creating rituals out of daily practices. The mind is not separate from the body or the spirit. To be mentally well, we need to reconnect to our whole selves. I also believe a big part of mental wellness is in connecting with community. That’s why I volunteer with Crisis Text, an online messaging platform that provides crisis support for people struggling with suicidal thoughts. As a way to help my community benefit from body-based practices, I also offer a donation pay-what-you-can yoga class once a month in the Albany area.
