Tima Tucker is a Board Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner, State Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist, CEO and owner of Tuckerville, LLC, mental health private practice, holding a graduate degree from Wayne State University in Clinical Social Work and an undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in Clinical Psychology. With more than 15 years of experience in Enneagram guided self-awareness, relationships and attachment disorders using therapeutic techniques informed by I. Yalom, Momma and the Meaning of Life, 1998., J. Gottman, D. Rakel and H. Palmer.
Tima Tucker respectfully creates genuine supportive therapeutic relationships in a relaxed setting implementing her unique Holistic Interpersonal Approach with her patients while using best practices and scientific evidence based approaches for alternative integrative therapies and modalities aimed to enhance the clinical therapeutic process of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), such as Hypnotherapy, Nutritional Wellbeing and meditation for the whole body. Tima Tucker is honored to supervise master and bachelor level interns and therapist with practicum and State of Michigan licensing (LARA) hours as well as guiding clinical skills and modalities for the new generation of Clinical Social Workers with the support of NASW CORE Supervisory curriculum.
Tima Tucker continued research encapsulate Integrative TherapeuticNatural Medicine with a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Clinical Research exploring Integrating (MBCT) Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy in the therapeutic practitioner and patient relationship leads to positive mental health outcomes, Sept. 2022. Tima Tucker utilizes every opportunity to connect with her patients who experience despair, while uncovering and releasing mental blockage caused by depression, anxiety, trauma, grief while experiencing and accepting the “true self”.
