My Approach to Helping
Are you tired of chronic pain controlling your life? Are you seeking help to support a loved one suffering from chronic pain?
Chronic illness, including chronic pain, does not discriminate. As an invisible condition many types of chronic illness such as chronic pain can affect every age, every phase of life, every culture. Having an invisible, not easily understood chronic condition can make it even harder to navigate your day to day. Do people tend to think you are inventing pain, inventing disease? I can help you navigate these stressors that are too often dismissed or misunderstood.
I have battled with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome for 19 years. It began when I was 15 and took years to get appropriately diagnosed. My life with invisible chronic pain remains complicated and complex. Having experienced countless negative experiences with medical and mental health professionals over the decades I decided to become the change.
