My Approach to Helping
The client is who matters in my office! Our Sessions would be collaborative, honest, and empathetic. We would work on re-framing cognitive distortions, and misunderstood emotions by creating new options and dismissing old patterns by creating new ways of living! Our main goal would be to put a new life plan in operation, incorporated with successful communication and coping methods, and follow them as they progress to a new and exciting way of life! Please see the sections, "Practice Information", and "Concerns & Issues I help With" for additional clinical information.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I have been married for 40 years, and have two adopted children. I have 33 years of continuous experience in a 12 step program, and have been a special education teacher on various levels for 22. I believe these life experiences give me a perspective on life difficulties which deal with relationships, raising children and addiction, as well as the many others listed on this profile, and how, with intervention and change, they can be changed to allow progress and happiness in life. Together we can overcome these delays to happiness.I also work with people who suffer from depression related to their perceived lack of success in their careers. I look forward to our journey!
