My Approach to Helping
My clients are young adults seeking to improve relationships with friends, families, partners, and themselves. We might work together to identify your needs, set boundaries, communicate in a healthy way, or explore polyamory. I also work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief to improve their mind-body connection and unpack how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interrelated.
Part of this work involves understanding your dynamics, attachment style, what you can control, and your role in relationships. I’ll use an eclectic approach that draws from modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and narrative therapy to reframe and rewrite recurring patterns that don’t serve you. Throughout this process, you’ll gain clarity on what you want out of your life and your relationships.
My approach is active and collaborative. I always provide insight, gentle feedback, and reframing. You’re unique, and I want to get to know you holistically – including your history and how you view yourself.
When it comes to overcoming life’s challenges, connecting with ourselves and the people closest to us is often the best place to start.
