Thank you for considering me for your counseling needs. While I do not accept insurance, some clients find that out-of-network reimbursement offsets their counseling fees.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
As a Christian who was once harmed by an unlicensed Christian counselor, I've developed a skill of working with Christians who are anxious, depressed, or have relationship problems.
I work with individuals who have narcissistic relatives, helping them to understand and explore ways to change the unpleasant dynamic.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
So have I. And here's what I've learned: Finding a therapist can sometimes feel like the search for the right pair of shoes. We may have to try a few before we find a good fit. But the right fit makes all the difference. It's my belief that there's a good therapist out there for you. It could be me, but we'll never know unless we talk about it.
If you're curious, call me. If I'm not a good fit, I'll be glad to refer you to a colleague who may be.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Some kind of struggle drives us to therapy. Yet here's the truth about that struggle: We struggle not because we are flawed, but because we are Human.
