My Approach to Helping
I have been practicing for 25 years now, working in various mental health settings as well as with a Christian perspective. When looking back over all of those years, I really have witnessed the result of change and trauma in people's lives and have also had the pleasure of seeing the healing that can occur. There are obvious traumas such as abuse and neglect, but there are also traumas that are less emphasized but are nonetheless devastating, such as loss of loved ones, job losses, relationship changes, aging, and health changes; just to name a few. These changes can lead to depression, anxiety, and panic attacks as well as PTSD. I want to be here for you to work on any change or trauma that you are currently facing or perhaps a changetrauma from the past that is continuing to have a negative impact on your life. I want to help you develop tools that you can use to work through those changes and traumas and help you to begin seeing yourself in a more positive light as an individual who is not defeated but someone who can overcome and begin to see the future in a positive light.
