My Approach to Helping

In my work, I take an integrative and holistic approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. I believe that every part of you is interconnected, and when one part feels overwhelmed or neglected, it affects everything else. Using a combination of somatic therapy, mindfulness practices, and other evidence-based techniques, we’ll work to release stress and stored trauma and learn to regulate your nervous system helping you feel more present, balanced, and empowered.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I’ll create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can explore parts of your life you may have been avoiding. We’ll gently uncover patterns, beliefs, and experiences that no longer serve you, allowing you to replace them with tools and practices that align with the life you want to live.
You might feel nervous about starting therapy, especially if you’ve never done this before. That’s okay—vulnerability takes courage, and just reaching out is a huge first step. I’ll meet you where you are and guide you at a pace that feels right for you.
My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, let go of the stress and beliefs that have been weighing you down, and step into a life where you feel more joy, freedom, and confidence. More Info About My Practice
I am a licensed psychotherapist and offer my services through telehealth only. If you have any questions or concerns about telehealth sessions, I am happy to hop on a call with you to discuss it. I have been offering telehealth since 2016 and have found it to be just as powerful and effective as meeting in person. I have clients who were very reluctant at first but changed their mind and were totally on board after just a few sessions. The technology may be something to get accustomed to but it is pretty easy once you figure it out.
Bonuses of telehealth sessions:
* Able to be in the comfort of their own home and in your own space
* No rushing out the door
* No sitting in traffic
* Easier if you are a parent
* Easier for rural clients
My training and background are in trauma-based healing therapies, mindfulness-based therapies, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and transformational coaching. We will use a variety of techniques and experiential exercises to help you grow and raise awareness about how stress affects your body and mind. This offers you information that empowers you to heal on a deeper level and transform your health, your relationships, parenting, your career, and any other area of your life. With guidance and support, you can create big shifts in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and believe in yourself again.
