My Approach to Helping
Everyone can benefit from support from time to time. Life’s challenges, whether they involve stress, anxiety, grief, trauma, or major transitions, can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Therapy provides a space to better understand and navigate these experiences, offering support and tools for personal growth, healing, and change.
My style is collaborative, warm, and direct, and I integrate talk and somatic therapy into my approach. This approach can help us more deeply understand patterns in our lives while finding different ways to move forward. Along with insight-oriented and reflective conversation, our work together may include mindfulness exercises, developing tools for emotional and physical regulation, and deepening awareness of the mind-body connection.
I am kink positive, sexpositive, bodypositive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, antiracist, and knowledgeable about alternative relationship structures. I welcome people from across all spectrums of identity and self-expression. A core hope I hold for my clients is that through this work, they develop a greater sense of agency both within themselves and in their lives.
