My Approach to Helping

Often, clients possess the means to resolve issues and just need a little help to arrive there. I offer sound solutions after problems are identified. I can also serve as your independent mediator for child custody, assisting an already overburdened court system and providing a logical process to choose. My combined experience as a mental health professional and thirty years as a family law paralegal allows me to treat the whole person in all divorce-related areas. I have specialized training as a divorce mediator, parenting coordinator, and parenting coach, and I prepare clients for family court services mediation appointments. Often, our relationships add to the traumas of life. Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is a process that can take the edge off those traumatic experiences and help move you to a new place of clarity.
