My Approach to Helping
I am the founder of Therapy Uninterrupted, where our focus is on providing exceptional and uninterrupted care from day one and beyond. I work with clients from a person-centred approach, working with you collaboratively to tailor a treatment plan that works best for you. a trained therapist with experience using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Strengths Based Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and perspectives from the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I work from a trauma-informed lens and focus on your well-being in a holistic way. Coming from an anti-oppressive lens, I practice with the values of dignity, diversity, and self-empowerment at the forefront. I highly value honesty, collaboration, respect, and empathy, with the hope of supporting clients in reaching the learning, growth, healing, and true potential they are capable of.
More Info About My Practice
As a therapist and a supervisor, I am constantly pushing myself to keep growing personally and professionally. I continue to explore new ways of learning, understanding, and practicing to ensure that I am providing my clients with the best care possible. I am always engaging with continuing education opportunities, supervision, and upgrading my skills as a therapist. In working with clinicians, my goal is to make sure that every therapist feels competent, capable, and supported. An empowered clinician is one who can provide quality work with clients, and it is my mission to ensure that this becomes standard practice. I have completed the required course work and education to become a competent Clinical Supervisor. I offer individual supervision sessions to any fully licenced therapist who is looking for ways to enhance their own skills and receive feedback and guidance in their practice.
Our team also includes a student therapist, Carrin Adoma, who is working towards obtaining her Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW). You can find her profile on GoodTherapy as well, or you can learn more about her and our services on our website, www.therapyuninterrupted.ca.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love being able to support people through the ups and downs of self-learning, growth, and healing. It is so rewarding for me to see people experience their 'ah-ha!' moments, re-experience joy and happiness, and learn to live up to their full potential. I am constantly learning about myself and the world through my clients, and I will never tire from getting to know such a deep version of the people who I work with. It is always an honour to be able to witness the journey of my clients!
