My Approach to Helping
My mission is to help clients become aware of their inner strengths and to build hope and resiliency. I am committed to providing a safe space for clients to be, to learn and to grow. I am currently accepting new adult clients for individual and couples counselling. I offer virtual services to SK and AB residents and in-person services in Calgary, AB, every Wednesday. My areas of interest include trauma, chronic and acute illness, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, and life transitions. I believe in counselling through a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach and providing LGTBQIA2S+ affirmative counselling.
I am trained in accelerated resolution therapy (ART) and hypnosis but I also draw from cognitive-behavioural therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, collaborative and goal oriented. Counselling is not \"one size fits all\". I will work with you to find an approach that meets your specific needs and goals.
