My Approach to Helping

I specialize in helping people from childhood to adulthood process and integrate stressful or traumatic events, as well as transform relationship patterns and self-defeating behaviors. I use evidence-based interventions such as EMDR, CBT, IFS, and DBT to help you address those difficulties in an effective way. My work is informed by the context of early attachment relationships. I like to make counseling fun and look for opportunities for clients to tap into their spontaneity and creativity (when they are ready), whether through the use of Sandtray Therapy or other right-brain activities.
