My Approach to Helping
As a trauma-informed, person-centered, relational-based therapist, I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where healing can happen. My approach is rooted in compassion and understanding, acknowledging the importance of each person's unique experiences and strengths. I work collaboratively with clients to foster trust and empower them on their journey towards growth and healing.
I am trained in several evidence-based modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches allow me to tailor therapy to meet the specific needs of each individual, whether working through past trauma, anxiety, or other life challenges. I view therapy as a partnership where we explore both present struggles and the deeper layers of self to facilitate lasting change.
