My Approach to Helping
I provide a compassionate, strength-based approach to my style of helping. I enjoy working with the client to establish your goals, your strengths, and ultimately a list of successes that is just that- yours. Through the process of therapy, I want you to feel like you are figuring out how to listen to your internal values, translating that wisdom into action and real change that you can see in your life.
My style balances empathy in understanding, direct communication, and lots of resources to help you do the work that is important to you in therapy. Be it trauma, relationship concerns, identity exploration, past hurts, future worries, etc. I provide a space to tackle shame, regret, and all the other feelings that can keep us stuck in the present.
