My Approach to Helping
I believe that therapy should be a safe, caring, non-judgmental, and confidential place to share thoughts and feelings, explore the root cause of difficulties, and practice new ways of coping that will encourage balance, peace, self-confidence, joy, and a greater understanding of self and others.
I use EMDR, Brainspotting, and IFS to help clients identify blocks to satisfaction and shift negative beliefs and behaviors from the inside out. If you are struggling in any area of your life it is worth exploring in therapy. Many of my clients have dealt with and worked through issues related to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, fear of change, anger management, loss of a job or loved one, addiction, and trauma. I use a strengths-based approach to focus on the unique strengths and challenges of each individual that I work with. Regardless of your struggles, I will work with you to identify positive, healthy ways of coping to overcome difficulties and increase satisfaction.
"If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place." Eckhart Tolle.
