My Approach to Helping
Change doesn't happen overnight. It can seem daunting or scary. Sometimes we get to a point where what we are doing just isn't working, or we have run out of ideas on how to make a change, and we decide it's time to seek out some support and guidance. That's where I come in! My style is strength-based, eclectic, and holistic. I enjoy helping people come into awareness of what their patterns of thoughts and behaviors are, so they can begin to start to change how they show up for themselves and others. I believe wholeheartedly in the mind-body connection, and love using metaphysical principles in therapy if it's a good fit. I use EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness approaches, narrative, and humor in my sessions. I love working with teens, individuals, couples, and families.
