My Approach to Helping

Life can be messy. In the hustle and bustle of everyday, it’s easy to feel lost and unsupported. These challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate them alone. My approach is client-centered, compassionate, and nonjudgmental, focusing on empowering you to find your own path while being there to guide and support you every step of the way.

It can feel scary to lean into this space and do the work required for transformation. Fear of change, fear of facing difficult emotions, and fear of stepping out of your comfort zone are all natural reactions. I am here to reassure and support you through these fears, helping you to embrace the journey with confidence and courage.

Transformation often requires stepping into the unknown. By taking small, manageable steps, you can move towards a more fulfilling and authentic life. If you're ready to take the first step I invite you to reach out. Schedule a consultation today, or visit my website. Let's embark on this journey together.

More Info About My Practice

Over the course of my 20 year career I have had the opportunity to work with teens and adults in a variety of settings. As a Social Worker my therapeutic skill is centered in strengths based, systems theory, and client centered practice. She draws from more traditional Solution Focused Therapy, CBT, & DBT as well as recent explorations into the benefits of self-compassion, values clarification, mindfulness, body and breath work, and polyvagal theory.

Practically speaking, if you enter into a counseling relationship with me you will find I connect with you wherever you are on your path. My work is grounded in the belief that each person has a deep inner sense of knowing that will inform their healing. My service is simply to create and hold a safe space for the transformation to occur. I offers tools, and invitations for conversation and practices that will create the time and space for you to feel better whether you are seeking a reduction in distressing symptoms or the opportunity to make meaning and move through a difficult time in your life. Before you know it we will be celebrating your breakthroughs.
