Dr. Hetal Patel, LPC, CPCS, MAC, and CPRP. My approach to therapy is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to help people live a productive life with issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and relationship issues.
More Info About My Practice
I am not a warm and fuzzy therapist. This is because I feel that you will hire me to help you resolve your deepest issues and sometimes, getting to the root of the problems is not easy. Although I will work with you until you are ready to resolve your deep issues, sometimes, it is my responsibility to help you understand barriers getting in the way of you resolving issues and this does not feel comfortable.
