My Approach to Helping

I have provided individual, couples, family, and parent coaching for over 20 years. In addition, I frequently participate in podcasts that focus on topics such as parenting and collaborating problem solving, fertility challenges, raising teenage girls, and using cognitive behavioral therapy to free yourself of chronic unproductive feelings. I believe humor, creativity, and reciprocity in sessions are highly important and ultimately, I want my clients to learn how to celebrate their strengths and weaknesses. It takes tremendous courage to seek therapy and commit to the desire to want to work on making life feel better. Reaching out and starting therapy is a worthy first celebration of change.

More Info About My Practice

I primarily offer telehealth only but in some cases I can adjust to in person if needed.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

I always remind my clients that therapy takes tremendous courage. My approach is extremely reciprocal, so the sessions are not one sided. I encourage brainstorming together, teaching skills and reflecting on how to best implement them. I also stress to my clients that I am as human as they are, and I wholeheartedly believe in the importance of practicing what I preach.
