My Approach to Helping

I believe that we all need a space where we can feel safe and accepted. You deserve a space where you can drop the mask and openly share your thoughts and feelings. A space where you can not only discuss your challenges but where you can celebrate your wins and successes as well. I believe that as we walk through life we pick up unhelpful messages, limiting beliefs and unhelpful behaviors that keep us stuck in the trenches. But, I also believe that these messages, beliefs and behaviors can be unlearned and we can unburden ourselves from our past experiences.

More Info About My Practice

I have been fortunate to spend my time working with youth in foster care, families in crisis, youth in residential treatment, LGBTQ youth and adults, college students and adults between the ages of 18-65. Therapy is not a one size fits all approach and what is helpful for one may not be helpful for the next person. This is why my goal is to collaborate with you and explore different techniques and strategies that are a good fit for where you're at in life. My goal is to help you find skills and tools you can apply to your day when feeling anxious, overwhelmed, angry or depressed. Together we will explore the connections between your thoughts, feelings and body so that your mind and body are able to connect and work together in a way that helps you move forward. Life will always have its ups and downs but my goal is to empower you to use the skills, tools and strategies that we practice so you feel confident in navigating the ups and downs that come your way.

My Therapy Focus

I work with clients who are having a hard time coping with lifes challenges whether that's related to school, work, relationships, family or trauma. Together we will create a space of trust and safety that will let us work together to explore your challenges and develop and plan that will help you live the life you want. My clients come from all walks of life from 10-55+ years old, male, female and non-binary, LQBTQIA+, BIPOC. This is a safe space for everyone who needs it.
