I help clients stop worrying, and start believing in themselves. My name is Jaclyn Burwell and I am an LCSW. If you struggle with setting boundaries, over thinking, and constant worry, I can help you.
Using ACT and a person centered approach, I will help you create a life that feels true to you. One with boundaries so you can stop being your own worst critic and enjoy the people around you.
My clients struggle as you do. Despite being smart, hard working, and seemingly having it all together, life is hard. When they first come in, they feel rundown, out of control, and overwhelmed. They want to feel more in control of their lives. They worry about standing up for themselves with their friends, family and coworkers. They would rather feel badly themselves, than let down the people around them. Their lack of boundaries gets in the way of the life they want in so many ways. They aren’t the kind of person they want to be. They feel like they’re failing as a friend, family member, or partner. And their confidence at work is tanking.
My style is pretty laid back and person focused. As we build a trusting relationship I will help guide you and challenge you towards your goals. You will laugh often, cry at times, and feel like you are truly making progress in your life.
