My Approach to Helping
Jacqueline Gordon, LPCC - Along with compassion and authenticity, I use several evidenced-based techniques to help individuals reach their goals. Often those include reducing anxiety and depression, navigating life events and decisions, improving relationships, or ending harmful ones, reducing work or family stress, increasing self-confidence, and healing from trauma or attachment wounds.
I use an integrative approach drawing on Mindfulness, Psychotherapy, and CBT to help people with anxiety, depression, relationships, and trauma. I work with people to manage the effects of trauma and stress by helping them develop awareness of unhealthy thought and behavior patterns and renew their attachment. We work together toward reconnecting to self and strengthening mind/body connection.
