I care about my clients and offer a judgement-free space to process the issues from your week as well as those from your life that are still impacting you today. Our time together serves one purpose- to enhance your life! I encourage you to take of yourself - take breaks, drink water, stop and breathe, say the things you feel in whatever colorful language that releases its power. All of you is welcome here. My practice offers telehealth and Walk and Talk therapy options. Sometimes an art museum or path around a lake is just what you need while we talk through what is on your mind.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
It can be even more daunting to find a new therapist after someone else has left you feeling shittier about your situation. I have certainly been there myself.
Like any relationship, it?s far more about the person than the credentials behind their name. And like any relationship, you owe your time to no one. Life is too short to wait and see if you are wrong about someone. Trust your instincts- if you?ve had three sessions and just aren?t feeling connected, it?s time to move on. Most therapists are happy to help you find a better fit and know other therapists with different styles to refer you.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
This will be driven by your needs alone. We won?t have any outside party limiting session numbers or requiring in depth diagnostic labeling (though I can provide that if requested).
