Jaida Edwards (sheherhers) has been passionate about the field of psychology and counseling since she was a child. Jaida places a major focus on the therapeutic relationship, rapport building, and validation in treatment. Her therapeutic approach is influenced by family systems theory with a focus on attachment, learned beliefs, and defense mechanisms. Jaida also employs other approaches in her treatment practice such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, somatic therapy, and IFS. This allows her to create an integrative approach unique to each client and their situation. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes collaboration, insight, and honesty.

Jaida is a Mental Health Counseling Psychotherapist who provides individual, couples, and family therapy. She incorporates a strong clinical approach with Ketamine & Oxytocin Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Jaida is a Trauma & Somatic Psychotherapist and specializes in the integration of Psychedelics, clinical Shadow work and Complex Trauma. She is also trained in EMDR, CBT, IFS, EFT, DBT, Breathwork, Somatic Havening and Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy. In addition, Jaida is trained in psychedelic therapy and shadow work, couple therapy, childhood sexual abuse, Clinical Hypnotherapy & NLP. Jaida has proven to be a kink-aware, poly-inclusive, anti-oppressive, and LGBT+ affirming therapist. Jaida’s areas of specialization include sex therapy, working with male survivors of abuse, relationship concerns, sexual abuse, and trauma. Jaida strives to be a culturally competent counselor and is dedicated to the pursuit of continuous knowledge and experience gained with working with a variety of ages and cultures.
