My Approach to Helping
In my therapeutic approach, I integrate Relational-Cultural Theory (RCT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to create a balanced and comprehensive treatment plan. RCT emphasizes the importance of relationships and connections in fostering psychological growth and healing, so I work to build a strong, collaborative relationship with my clients, focusing on mutual empathy and empowerment. At the same time, I incorporate CBT techniques to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, promoting healthier cognitive and behavioral responses. This combination allows me to address both the relational and cognitive aspects of my clients' experiences, leading to deeper, more meaningful change.
