My Approach to Helping
My name is Jeff Fry I am an LCSW. I have been in mental health for over 33 years. I primarily use cognitive Behavioral therapy. I see people with a variety of issues. My primary specialties are attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues.
More Info About My Practice
My style is friendly and relaxed but direct. When I work with people, I want them to feel comfortable and maybe even laugh a bit if it is warranted. So, in the first session, my opening is most often, "What can I do for you today?y" I want people to feel comfortable in stating what is going on with them. Then together we will come up with some goals to work on before the session ends. I have had people say that they felt the first session already had significantly helped them.
