My Approach to Helping
Jennifer Is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been working in the field of trauma and psychotherapy for over 20 years. In the past few years, she has added the focus of mental health and integrative medicine, incorporating more mind and body focused approaches to treatment, as well as supporting nutrition for mental health, movement, meditation, and psychedelic preparation and integration services.
She is a compassionate therapist who values her relationships with clients and who works hard to effectively provide education, feedback, and a variety of strategies to address their presenting issues and challenges. She works with her clients to enhance their self-awareness, understand their sources of stress, discover their inner strengths and resilience, and improve their effectiveness for long-term results.
Jennifer believes in empowering people to work through life's challenging experiences. She is dedicated to working with her clients on identifying the source of distress or difficulty and developing strategies to improve their lives. Her ideal client is an adult who is navigating the challenges of life, personal performance, family, or peer relationships, family planning, or parenting.
Her extensive experience working with adults and adolescents on issues related to mood and behavior, and current and past trauma, has informed many of her treatment approaches. She has additional experience providing fertility support and treating postpartum depressionanxiety. She also enjoys her work with teens and young adults navigating their developmental paths, and athletes on performance enhancement and improvement.
Currently Jennifer offers initial evaluation consultations, trauma-focused therapy approaches, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), psychedelic preparation and harm reduction support, and individual and group psychedelic integration support.
