My Approach to Helping
Many people who connect with me want help with understanding where their anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and difficulty with relationships stem from.
You are someone who had a difficult childhood leaving you feeling unloved, unheard and unseen. Who tends to be a people pleaser and can't say "no" to others. You are overly critical and doubt yourself. You experience low self-worth and self-esteem. Feeling unsatisfied in yourself and in your relationships. Someone who fears failure, judgement, rejection and abandonment. Someone who constantly feels anxious because you're unsure of yourself and needs, and lacks independence.
Work we will do will go deep to help tackle the root cause of your concerns. My hope is to help you feel more confident about yourself, learn to set healthy boundaries with others, and better express your needs. You will understand and manage unpleasant emotions better, learn to accept yourself, improve your self-worth and stand up for yourself.
In our work, a person learns to establish a better relationship with themselves by accepting and loving who they are, which helps improve how they feel about themselves and gives them the confidence to communicate their needs more effectively, which helps to improve their overall relationship with their partner, families and friends. They also learn to stand up and advocate for themselves in relationships and at work because they come to know what they are deserving of and how to say 'no' to others.
Having difficult childhood leads to feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem self-worth and relationship issues. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space. My goal is to help you feel better about yourself, reduce anxiety and make sense of your fears and difficult emotions.
