My Approach to Helping
My style is deeply relational, trauma-informed, intuitive and interactive. As a therapist, and human, I embrace the following core beliefs: I believe that you are worthy of kindness, respect, connection, and belonging; I believe that you are a multi-faceted, nuanced human being, and that therapy should address the whole person - the mind, body, heart and spirit; and I believe we all have an invincible sun (Camus) inside us, where reserves of courage, beauty, and healing wisdom reside.
I assist individuals dealing with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, loss, and grief, identity, aging, and psychedelic integration.
My training and experience include trauma, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, play and sandtray, and somatic embodiment modalities. I am also trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
