My Approach to Helping
I absolutely love my job as a therapist and truly enjoy being able to help others reach a high level of satisfaction in their careers and in their personal relationships. My approach is mostly collaborative-I believe in tailoring my treatment plan for each individual patient with their input and coordinating care with other health care providers, when appropriate.

I work with clients in California, Colorado, and Florida over a secure video platform. I accept debitcredit or electronic payments.
My Role as a Therapist
What's therapy with me like? First and foremost, I love people. I genuinely care about others and that comes through even over a video screen. I've worked with people from all backgrounds and abilities and have a diverse group of friends; I can connect with almost anyone. Because I'm a bit of a nerd who loves learning, I have training in many different empirically-supported modes of counseling. I don't utilize any experimental techniques, so what you get is treatment based off of decades of research by experts around the world. Services with me are professional, yet laid-back. We will wade through tough topics and I won't shy away from that. We will also laugh a lot (hopefully) as we find ways to work through challenges. My style is mostly collaborative: I offer roadmaps based on my knowledge and expertise while helping you feel confident in the driver's seat. We take that road trip together.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
It can be scary to tell a stranger some intimate details about your struggles. My advice for those who aren't sure if they can share personal thoughts with a therapist or feel that therapy may not be helpful is to just give it a try for one session and see if it is the right fit for you. No client of mine is ever forced to continue therapy-it is entirely on their terms. If working with me isn't right for you, I am happy to refer you to someone else. You never know, one hour might be the beginning of a much-needed life change. But you won't know until you try.
