My Approach to Helping
Life can often be an overwhelming endeavor. The demands put on us can bring us to our breaking point and force us to cope in whatever ways we can to survive. As a result, many people feel isolated, exhausted, and detached from themselves and the world around them. If you are ready to take back your life back and do more than just “get by”, therapy can be the best place for you. and that you deserve more than just “getting by.” I provide a genuine, empathetic, safe place for you to work on your own healing and figure out how to move forward. I am passionate about helping people from all walks of life who are ready to make real changes in their lives and move past their pain.
Whether you’ve experienced trauma, family conflict, anxietydepression, sexual issues, griefloss, or suicidality, I will work collaboratively with you to find the best approach. I use a blend of evidence-based treatments including EMDR therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy.
