My Approach to Helping
Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, shame, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck and out of control? These experiences can be overwhelming, but you don't have to suffer alone. As a therapist, I specialize in mood, anxiety, cognitive, behavioral, and addiction-related disorders, and I can teach you the skills and tools to take back control of your life.
Through a holistic approach that combines cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies, I aim to help you better understand and manage the underlying factors causing your pain. By addressing your emotional, physical, occupational, financial, social, environmental, and spiritual dimensions, I can guide you toward a life worth living.
My approach is guided by key principles such as mindfulness, addressing the unconscious mind, treating underlying causes rather than just symptoms, and replacing challenging behaviors with positive ones. With my help, you can achieve freedom from compulsions, self-destruction, and limiting beliefs, and find self-acceptance and healthy coping skills. Don't suffer in silence - contact me today to start your journey toward a better life.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
If you're unsure about starting therapy or whether it's the right choice for you, consider this: Are you currently living the life you want? If not, it may be worth exploring what changes could be made to help you reach your goals. It can be challenging to determine if your expectations are realistic, but that's something we can work on together.
If you're reading this, chances are you're looking for a change. If you're questioning whether you need to make a change or not, you're already thinking about what could be better. Take advantage of free consultations offered by myself and other clinicians to get a better understanding of the various approaches and expertise within the field of therapy.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
When looking for a therapist to help you with your needs, it's crucial to have the opportunity to ask questions about the therapist's background and practice. I offer a free initial consultation that provides a dedicated time frame for individuals considering working with me to ask any questions that can help make an informed decision. This consultation is an opportunity for you to get to know me and my approach to therapy, and for me to understand your goals and needs for therapy.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
What is it that you need right now? This is an open question, that we will continue to return to when working together so that we can consistently align with both your goals and needs. If you are looking for intensive therapy meeting multiple times a week-I can accommodate; if you are just wanting to meet monthly for "maintenance"-I can accommodate; or if you're wanting to explore a thought, feeling, andor behavior and are uncertain if therapy is right for you-I can accommodate.
It helps me to know, at our first meeting, what it is that you're looking for in terms of frequency and intensity of treatment. This, of course, will vary depending on your situation; but is a good discussion point in your initial consultation to discuss with any clinician you are considering working with.
