My Approach to Helping

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. You deserve to be seen - you deserve to be heard - you deserve to be happy - and you are worth the effort. I believe in listening without judgement, and offering guidance without force. I believe setbacks do not define us, human connections can be transformative, and healing is possible.

Often we view ourselves through the distorted lens of self-doubt, past mistakes, or the expectations of others. During such times we could benefit from an alternative lens. One that offers understanding rather than criticism, of kindness rather than judgment. That doesn't mean being in denial, It means recognizing that you are more than your worst moments.

For many of us stumbling forward is often the norm, not the exception. When we continuously feel like we are always trying to, "roll the boulder up the hill," we can become desensitized to our own emotional pain, thinking this is just the way life is. I believe life can have more meaning with a sense of purpose, and connecting with others who feed our soul. My goal is to help individuals find their motivation for change, and break unhealthy-patterns that lead to suffering. Through evidence based techniques one can experience a more meaningful life, reaching a level of peace and contentment which had previously been unknown.

More Info About My Practice

We Believe in Being of Service to Others

Thrive Therapy Group is a sanctuary of understanding, a circle where hearts and minds come together in shared vulnerability and strength. It is a place where burdens are gently lifted, not by force, but by the kindness of those who truly listen. Within these walls, pain is met with compassion, struggles are honored with respect, and victories—no matter how small—are celebrated as triumphs. If an individual has limited resources or no insurance we offer a sliding scale to ease the financial burden during hard times. We believe despite race, color, gender, religion or economic status, all individuals are inherently deserving of quality healthcare.

We Are not Here to Judge

We offer a safe space where silence is not judged, tears are never wasted, and laughter becomes a testament to an individuals resiliency. We believe in a place where no one walks alone; healing is not a destination but a journey with others who believe in hope, kindness,, empathy, growth, and the power of human connection.

We Fast Track New Clients

We also know how difficult it is to reach out for help. We believe most of us have had to be strong for too long; and by the time one musters up the courage to reach out for help – it’s urgent! That is why we fast track new clients. We don’t believe in waiting lists. We don’t believe in endless paperwork that requires a client to share intimate details prior to meeting with their therapist. We don’t believe that the right insurance or economic status should dictate if one receives care.

We Believe Strongly in Human Contact

Of course we do Telehealth. But we believe so strongly in human contact that if you are within 5 miles of our location we can have the therapist come to you – with no extra expense to the client. This works great for the homebound, and corporations that allow, and encourage employees to take their mental health seriously. Offering workers (the benefits of an onsite therapist), can remind workers to make their mental health a priority.
