My Approach to Helping

You’ve worked hard and achieved success, but do you still feel like it’s not enough—or that you’re not enough? Do you feel guilt or shame about past choices, now realizing ADHD may have played a role? Are you your own worst critic when things don’t go exactly as planned? Do you carry the weight of feeling criticized or misunderstood for most of your life?

I have over a decade of experience with clients who struggle with ADHD, trauma, and self-confidence. More often than not, all 3 are connected. Throughout my career, I’ve completed extensive training in trauma and EMDR, ADHD, and self-confidence, deepening my ability to help clients reconnect with themselves and build a life that feels more aligned. Whether we’re exploring the roots of past experiences, learning how to work with (not against) your brain, or developing practical skills for daily life, our work together is designed to foster both insight and action.

Clients who work with me often describe therapy as a space where they can be their true, unfiltered selves. Sessions might look like diving into deep emotional work, laughing about a relatable ADHD moment, gaining insight into how trauma impacts the brain and body, or practicing coping skills that create lasting change.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in working with high-achieving adults in their 30s and 40s who may look like they have it all together on the outside?but inside, are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.

Some of the core issues I support include:

ADHD (especially in late-diagnosed adults): Whether you've known for years or are just beginning to explore how ADHD shows up in your life, I help clients navigate executive functioning challenges, emotional dysregulation, and the impact of masking or chronic self-pressure.

Burnout & Stress: You may be operating in survival mode, constantly pushing through exhaustion or emotional numbness. I help clients move from burnout to balance by exploring the root causes and building more sustainable ways of living and working.

Trauma & Complex Trauma (C-PTSD): I use EMDR and parts work (IFS-informed) to help clients process and heal from past experiences that continue to shape how they relate to themselves and others.

Perfectionism & High-Functioning Anxiety: Many of my clients struggle with a harsh inner critic, fear of failure, or the sense that they always need to be ?on.? Together, we work on loosening these patterns and making space for self-trust and rest.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Therapy with me can help you...

Understand your patterns. Together, we'll look at how your current struggles? whether it's burnout, anxiety, or emotional reactivity
are shaped by past experiences, nervous system responses, and how your brain works (especially if you're neurodivergent).

Learn practical tools. I integrate modalities like ADHD specific coping skills, EMDR, DBT, and IFS to help you regulate emotions, manage stress, and shift patterns that feel stuck. These aren't just coping strategies, they're ways of creating more spaciousness and choice in your life.

Heal the root causes. If you've been carrying unprocessed trauma or messages about not being ?enough,? therapy can help you gently explore and release those burdens, so they no longer run the show from behind the scenes.

Build self-trust and self-compassion. Especially for high-achievers and perfectionists, therapy can be a space to quiet the inner critic and reconnect with parts of yourself that have been silenced, overworked, or misunderstood.

Create meaningful, lasting change. Whether that means redefining success, setting healthier boundaries, or simply feeling more calm and present in your daily life, therapy helps you move from surviving to truly living.
