My Approach to Helping
Jody is a master’s-level Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in trauma, social justice counseling, addiction, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She enjoys integrating therapeutic modalities to meet specific client needs with a holistic and compassionate approach to healing. Her experience as a psychometrist and therapist, focusing on neuropsychological development, contributes to the psychoeducation she uses to educate her clients. Jody is enthusiastic about people, connections, and learning, bringing excitement to her work. She believes that clients are the experts in their healing experience, and she wants to assist them in empowering themselves to grow, learn, heal, and find authentic well-being.
