My Approach to Helping
Andrew Hosier is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist born and raised in Southern California. Andrew has work history in non-profit social service agencies, private psychiatric offices, inpatient addiction treatment centers and outpatient primary mental health facilities. He has extensive personal and professional experience working with addiction, anxiety, depression, relationshipfamily conflict and co-dependence. He operates from a psychodynamic perspective with influences of a humanistic person-centered approach, utilizing motivational interviewing and behavior-based approaches (CBTACT) to aid clients in achieving their own goals for therapy. Andrew completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California. When not doing therapy, Andrew is attempting to make his daughter and wife laugh while cuddling his corgi, reading books, watching sports and cycling.
