My Approach to Helping

If you’re feeling stuck, caught in worry, self-doubt, or anxiety that just won’t quiet down, you’re not alone. Maybe the ways you’ve managed things before don’t seem to help anymore, or you're just feeling tired of holding it all together on your own. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and I want you to know it’s okay to not have it all figured out before you do.

I work best with people who are thoughtful and ready for change, even if they’re not sure where to start. My job is to help you make sense of what you’re going through, and to walk with you as you move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and true to who you are.

In our sessions, I use proven approaches like ACT, CBT, ERP, and EMDR, but more than that, I focus on what actually works for you. We’ll slow things down, get curious about what’s going on inside, and work together to build tools that help you handle hard emotions, make decisions that fit your values, and feel more in control of your life.

I believe change happens when we feel seen, supported, and safe. Therapy with me is a space where we can be real, with all the messiness, fear, and hope that comes with being human. If you're ready to begin, I’m here to meet you where you are.

My Therapy Focus

Imagine being in a boat that's not stuck because of storms or broken sails, but because of quiet, heavy anchors, old beliefs, painful memories, overwhelming feelings, or fear of the unknown. These anchors often show up to protect us, but over time, they can also keep us from moving toward the life we want: one filled with connection, purpose, and peace.

In our work together, we'll gently explore what's holding you back, not to force change, but to understand it, soften it, and create space for something new. I often use metaphors because they help make sense of the hard stuff and offer a fresh way to see your inner world.

We'll draw from what we know about how the mind and brain work, using tools like acceptance, mindful awareness, and committed action, to help you stop struggling with your thoughts and start showing up for what matters most to you.

This isn't about fixing you. It's about helping you reconnect with the version of you that's been there all along, the one who knows what matters and is ready to take the next step.
