My Approach to Helping

I help people who are stressed, anxious, depressed & traumatized more joy and peace in life. Are you feeling stressed, anxious, depressed, or stuck? I can help you discover peace of mind.

Imagine embarking on a journey toward a life abundant in authenticity, creativity connection, and compassion—with my guidance borne out of 20 years of experience as a therapist, we'll navigate this path together. Facing life's inevitable stresses is no small feat; often leading us to replay worst-case scenarios or to attempt to numb our stress by binging on media, food, work or substances. Regardless of how you manage stress, I am confident that my experience and skillset can help you effectively find relief from stress, improve your sense of well-being, and find more enjoyment in life.

My clients are happy to discover that seeking perfection stunts our growth and that embracing our imperfections with compassion allows us to learn, grow and heal. “When I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Carl Rogers. I believe that it takes courage to reach out for help and that this simple act of self-compassion can become a catalyst for real and lasting change.

I provide an atmosphere that is accepting, non-judgmental, and compassionate. I help people heal from trauma through the therapeutic process by incorporating mindfulness, meditation, brain spotting and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. I also teach MBSR, an 8-week evidence-based meditation course designed to help people face stress, pain, and illness. Guided meditation can be offered if desired.

It takes courage to reach out for help and I believe that this simple act of self-compassion can become a catalyst for real and lasting change. If you are ready for a change, take the first step by contacting me to set up a free phone consultation.
