My Approach to Helping

Are you feeling anxious that you might not be able to handle this big life challenge with your physical & emotional wellbeing, authenticity, and serenity still intact?

Hopeful that you can come out on the other side of it with new growth & wisdom?

Struggling to navigate life and find fulfillment, love, & belonging as someone who's “different”, even from some of the people & communities you love most?

Overwhelmed, disconnected, unseen, unheard, or unfulfilled in your relationships?

Wrestling with whispers of shame, and wondering “Am I enough? Am I good enough?"

I believe that we're all broken, wounded, and whole (yes, all three!), and that it's your wounds that make you beautiful.
That you don't have to believe every story your brain tells you.
That you're resilient and you can handle more than you think you can.
That you're enough.

With 15+ years’ experience, I’m especially passionate about working with caregivers, LGBTIQA+ folks, & people struggling with codependence or with a major life change. As a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), I have many years experience helping people impacted by brain injury or stroke.

I particularly enjoy working with identity or culture "straddlers", folks who have some kind of significant difference in identity or way-of-life from their family of origin or "home" community —class, education attainment, religion, politics, geographic, or rural-urban, to name a few. (A surprising number of struggles can be attributed to or exacerbated by having this particular life experience!)

My clients say they feel deeply seen, heard, & understood, without judgment, but rather with positivity & gentle accountability for taking steps toward their goals, at their own pace.

Together, we'll create a shared understanding of what you want to be different, and what’s getting in your way. Then, with me as your co-pilot, we’ll gain insights, learn strategies, and find healing...and set out on a path toward the life that you're yearning for.

I invite you to take that brave first step: reach out and let's start a conversation!
