My Approach to Helping

It takes courage to begin therapy. We can all use a little help at different points in our lives, yet taking that first step to connect with a therapist can be intimidating. From the very beginning, I strive to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible. I believe that therapy works best in the context of a collaborative and supportive relationship. As such, I take a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental approach. As we build trust and safety, we will work together to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, helping you to gain increased self-awareness and insight. It is through knowing yourself more deeply that you will open up new possibilities for change and growth.

More Info About My Practice

I invite you to visit my website to learn more about my practice. Please call or email me with any questions or to begin a conversation about how I might be of help to you. I am happy to offer a complimentary phone consultation to discuss the concerns bringing you to treatment and to determine if we might be the right fit. If it feels like a good match, we can schedule a meeting.
