My Approach to Helping
It takes courage to begin therapy. We can all use a little help at different points in our lives, yet taking that first step to connect with a therapist can be intimidating. From the very beginning, I strive to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible. I believe that therapy works best in the context of a collaborative and supportive relationship. As such, I take a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental approach. As we build trust and safety, we will work together to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, helping you to gain increased self-awareness and insight. It is through knowing yourself more deeply that you will open up new possibilities for change and growth.
