I've often described myself as a personal trainer for the mind. My approach is uncomplicated but requires hard work by both therapist and client. My passion is empowering clients to engage in deep self reflection and challenge the unhealthy choices we make on a daily basis that result in increased stress and prevent us from experiencing joy. I specialize in helping individuals, families, and couples work through life issues and manage symptoms of a variety of mental health concerns. I teach clients to effectively communicate their wants & needs while avoiding common thinking errors like making assumptions and taking things personally. I will guide you toward a life of peace and authenticity.
I have helped many teens and families set household expectations to avoid misunderstandings and create balance within the family system. I work with new mothers through postpartum depression, breastfeeding, infant sleep patterns, scheduling, and growth leaps. I use Gottman relationship tools to strengthen couple's relationships and address conflict.
