My Approach to Helping

Connection, authenticity, and collaboration are some of the most important aspects of therapy to me. My priority is to hold space for my clients so they can safely show up and explore who they are. I aim to assist my clients to live purposeful, joy-filled lives while honoring their emotional experience. I primarily use a tailored blend of experiential modalities that can delve into the deeper layers of the psyche to address the root causes of emotional distress. By exploring and understanding the underlying emotional patterns that drive current behaviors, you can experience profound and lasting change. My approach aims to be destigmatizing, holistic, focusing on empowering my clients.

What Makes up a Problem?

From my framework, a problem isn't just a symptom to get rid of - it's often a hidden, adaptive response that made sense in your past but no longer serves you today. Whether it's anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship struggles, these issues often stem from old emotional experiences that are still active beneath the surface. The "problem" may be a protective solution your mind and body created to help you navigate difficult moments earlier in life. In therapy, we work together to uncover the emotional roots of your struggles and bring them into conscious awareness. Once you connect with and understand these deeper layers, real, lasting change can happen. You'll not only get relief from the symptoms but also feel more empowered and aligned with who you truly are in the present.
