My Approach to Helping

We live in an absurd world, shaped by expectations about who we should be and how we should feel. These pressures can lead to overwhelm, isolation, and a sense of meaninglessness. While we can’t always change our experiences, we can transform our relationship with them. I specialize in working with those who give so much to others- therapists, caregivers, educators, healthcare workers, and moms, helping them find connection, meaning, and self-compassion. You deserve a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued.

I use a mix of theories that emphasize acceptance, curiosity, and compassion to cultivate awareness and resilience. My style uses warm, nonjudgmental dialogue while providing a space where you feel heard and valued. Through collaboration, we disrupt narratives and reconnect you to your inner strength, wisdom, and values, while fostering insight and growth.

It can be vulnerable and difficult to reach out for support. While therapy can bring up tough emotions, your therapist should always make you feel safe in sharing your story. I believe you already have what it takes to be the best you, but sometimes that insight needs encouragement, space, and support. I hope to provide what is needed for you to grow.

More Info About My Practice

My approach draws from an eclectic blend of theories and practices. Together, we will question and challenge prevailing social, cultural, religious, and other narratives while exploring how past and present relationships shape your sense of self and patterns of connection. Through this process, we will work to reconnect you with your inner strength, wisdom, perspective, and values, fostering more authentic and fulfilling relationships in your life.

You should expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you are fully accepted and heard. The goal of this work is to try to facilitate self-discovery, building and creating trust that you have the inner resources to grow, have resilience in difficult times, make meaningful changes, and cultivate joy. This approach develops self-acceptance and compassion, personal wisdom, and alignment with one’s authentic self.

I strongly value kindness and radical compassion, authenticity, humor, free and accessible education, helping the community, and always staying curious and creative. We have a responsibility to each other.
