My Approach to Helping
I utilize talk therapy, mindfulness, somatic-based work, and EMDR to help clients better understand themselves, accept what can't be changed, and manage what can. I work with individuals teens, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, identity issues, neurodiversity, and deep trauma. As a Black woman, I know what it means to exist in spaces that weren’t built with you in mind. I work with those who have been “othered”—whether by race, gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, or any aspect of identity that has made you feel unseen. In this space, you are acknowledged, valued, and supported exactly as you are.
I will help you gain a better understanding of yourself, your feelings, and how to work through your problems. Through self-exploration, mindfulness, and bodywork, we will explore how your life experiences have shaped your thoughts and who you are. With this deeper understanding, you will be better able to decide what you want for your future.
This is your space, your time, and your opportunity to heal. My therapy practice is centered around you—your needs, your journey, your healing. If you're ready to begin your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you.
