My Approach to Helping
Karmen Just is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and certified professional counselor supervisor (CPCS) in the state of Georgia. Karmen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Albany State University (2003) and her Master of Arts degree from Argosy University (2008). Karmen has worked in the mental health field for over 17 years in a variety of settings, including group homes, partial hospitalization settings, community-based, school-based, and clinic-based. She has a passion for working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults facing emotional and behavioral issues, including but not limited to: attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), anxiety, depression, conduct issues, schizophrenia, bipolar, and anger management. Karmen is also experienced in working with crisis intervention and helping to provide stabilization during these difficult times. She works with individuals, couples, and families with an emphasis on the entire unit by focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. Karmen is committed to providing the highest quality of care to promote healing, growth, and self-development, assisting clients in achieving a well-rounded, healthy approach to living.
