My Approach to Helping
Hi Universe! My name is Dr. Katarina Olea and I am excited to begin this journey with you. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have been practicing therapy in a variety of settings for over 17 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, a Master’s Degree in Counseling, and a Doctorate in Behavioral Health. I love helping people change their lives for the better. I specialize in helping people with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and improving their physical health (losing weight, sleeping better, and adding in movement) among other things. I take a collaborative approach to counseling and look forward to working with you to tackle the goals that you set in the beginning of our sessions together. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Counseling. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and running. My longest run was an Ultra 50-mile run. Let the adventure begin.
